At Seabreeze Horse Connection, we believe meaningful relationships with horses begin by understanding their world and not always asking them to fit into ours. Horses have their own language, instincts, personalities, and boundaries. When we slow down enough to observe and listen, they have much to teach us about communication, trust, awareness, and connection.

Rooted in relationship-based liberty horsemanship, equine-facilitated learning, and nature-based wellness, our experiences offer opportunities to connect with horses in ways that honor who they naturally are. There is no riding, no pressure to perform, and no horse experience necessary. Just an invitation to be curious, present, and open to what unfolds.

Guided by the Horses

The horses are not simply part of the experience. They are our partners and teachers.

Our approach is influenced by Carolyn Resnick Liberty Horsemanship, The HERD Institute's equine-facilitated learning principles, and the Masterson Method of equine bodywork. We recognize each horse as an individual with their own needs, preferences, and ways of communicating. Not every horse seeks hands-on interaction, and we believe there is just as much value in observing, listening, and sharing quiet space.

For more than 20 years, Egret Paradise has been a place of learning, connection, and deep appreciation for horses and the natural world. Beneath the 200+ year old live oaks and among the rhythms of the resident wildlife, there is space to slow down and notice what often gets lost in the busyness of everyday life.

The private farm, a hidden gem in south Wilmington, offers a peaceful setting where horses and nature help create the experience that is sometimes through interaction, sometimes through observation, and sometimes through the simple gift of stillness. It is a place to feel welcome, to be curious, and to reconnect with what matters.
