This is a unique experience where you’ll connect with horses while exploring breathwork techniques and enjoying the moment besides them.

Pilates in the Pasture

Painting & Ponies

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon painting your own 5x7 or 8x10 impressionistic house or garden portrait. You could also paint your favorite vacation spot or a favorite photo you've taken.
Wilmington artist Katie Elzer-Peters will help you create a traced sketch of your photo of choice and will then guide you in painting and adding details with colored pencils and ink pens. Ticket cost includes a $25 donation to the rescue horses at Seabreeze Horse Connection. Enjoy a meet and greet with the Seabreeze herd while you wait for your painting to dry!
Location: Seabreeze Horse Connection at Egret Paradise (Private, invitation-only horse farm on Carolina Beach Road near the Snow's Cut Bridge. Directions will be sent prior to workshop.)
Price includes: An 8x10 frame with mat (painting is 5x7 if mat is used), all paper, watercolor supplies, pens, pencils, brushes, and instruction.

Julie from Drift Yoga Club will help us practice grounding, presence in the moment, relaxing, stretching, and self-regulating with and around horses. The set of exercises in the peaceful natural setting of Egret Paradise aims to support and strengthen our mental and emotional health, to become more resilient, rested, attentive, peaceful, and connected. Light snacks & tea are provided as well as a herd meet & greet of the majestic Seabreeze herd.

Ever wanted to work with a horse? Or maybe you are curious as to how horses might help? We offer half-day experiences for individuals to come out and spend 3.5 hours interacting with horses. You will receive a farm tour, an equine-facilitated learning session, an activity of your choosing with a horse, an arts & craft, and feeding the herd. This is a good option if you are looking for an opportunity to connect with horses & nature, and want a longer experience. This is also a special gift option for a horse lover in your life.
