Includes pilates class with Movement by Ashley, Herd Meet & Greet, photos, painting a pumpkin, apple cider & seasonal snack, and soaking in the nature of Egret Paradise - a hidden nature gem in south Wilmington. Half of the proceeds go directly to the care of the senior rescue herd with their medical costs.
Horseshoes & Heartstrings

Join us for a relaxed late-afternoon gathering with the herd. We’ll begin with a meet & greet and time to simply be in their presence, no pressure, just connection.
From there, you’ll be guided through a simple, meaningful creative experience:
- Create your own horseshoe keepsake
- Craft a small intention stone to carry with you
Come to reset. Come to breathe. Come alone or bring someone you love to be held by the land, the horses, and a slower pace.
This is a guided experience with the herd, and includes all materials for your horseshoe and intention stone keepsakes. Spots are limited.

Ever wanted to work with a horse? Or maybe you are curious as to how horses might help? We offer experiences for individuals to come out and spend half a day interacting with horses. You will receive a herd meet & greet, an equine-facilitated learning session, mindfulness with horses, and taking care of them. The type of horsemanship practiced here is more of a way of life with horses than a training method. This is a good option if you are looking for an opportunity to connect with horses & a hidden gem nature reserve and want an immersive experience. This is also a special gift option for a horse lover in your life.

Painting & Ponies

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon painting your own 5x7 or 8x10 impressionistic house or garden portrait. You could also paint your favorite vacation spot or a favorite photo you've taken.
Wilmington artist Katie Elzer-Peters will help you create a traced sketch of your photo of choice and will then guide you in painting and adding details with colored pencils and ink pens. Ticket cost includes a $25 donation to the rescue horses at Seabreeze Horse Connection. Enjoy a meet and greet with the Seabreeze herd while you wait for your painting to dry!
Location: Seabreeze Horse Connection at Egret Paradise (Private, invitation-only horse farm on Carolina Beach Road near the Snow's Cut Bridge. Directions will be sent prior to workshop.)
Price includes: An 8x10 frame with mat (painting is 5x7 if mat is used), all paper, watercolor supplies, pens, pencils, brushes, and instruction.
